Alas poor Yorick!

I’m glad the nickname stuck. My parents always thought I’d not amount to anything but here I am, the Caffeinated Banana themselves, the first of their name, may my coffee always have excellent cold foam on top.

Orr…may your bananas always be green and the perfect density for dipping? *wink wink*

Coffee foam can be remade in a matter of minutes; bananas cannot be regrown on your kitchen counter.

Valid point. What is also great is that the combo of refrigerated bananas with milk and sweetener of choice doesn’t need ice and you can just blend them for the perfect cold foam.

Okay yes please. Do you have a recipe or is it a family secret?

I shall reveal it for everyone. A bit of preferably oat milk (dairy if you’re plant free), a third or a half of a green refrigerated banana, a sweetener of choice (I use salted caramel syrup but I’m weird), and a 1/8 teaspoon total of mix of these: cayenne, powdered ginger, cinnamon, allspice (with a microscopic amount of salt) — put in blender, blend together, pour on top of cold brew, and make a whole blog on how much you love bananas in coffee. Last bit is recommended but optional.

It’s hilarious how you think salted caramel is the thing that makes you weird but not the cayenne in banana cream.

But seriously, salted caramel scones are my ambrosia. Especially the ones from Knotted Donut.
